Wig Review: [Jiuwihu] Short Spiky Blonde wig

Hi guys! I’m here with a wig review~

The wig I’ll be reviewing today came from a brand/taobao shop called ‘Jiuwihu’. Honestly, I was desperate in looking for reviews on wigs from them because their products are much cheaper compared to the other brands. Given that, I was intrigued with how the quality was.

I did find some reviews on it and they said that it was okay, so I gave it a try.

Here’s the wig I ordered:

Top View~

This wig had a circular skin part. You can’t really see the fake scalp unless you get really close lol.

I really like how it has more than one colour to it. It adds depth and makes it look a bit more realistic.

Colour-wise, it’s a darker more yellowish colour in real life, but it photographs lighter - just like how it looks in the stock pic imo.

Side View~

The wig’s nicely layered and the spikes can be fluffed up.

I also really like the fibers this wig has. It’s really soft and has a really nice texture. It has that slightly rough texture that makes it good for styling.

Back View~

The wig’s super matte too. Its thickness is also really nice - not ridiculously thick, but it’s more than enough to cover what needs to be covered.

It also looks okay when flash is used imo.

The only problem I had with this wig is that it shed within its first couple of usages. It doesn’t shed now though (which is good).

The fitting of the inner cap was okay for me. A bit snugger compared to my Lucaille wigs. I don’t think it’d be a comfy fit for those with larger heads though (I have a circumference of 20”).

Oh, by the way, the fringe of this wig came unstyled.

The colour really varies on the lighting. The wig also looks flatter - for lack of better words, when you press down on the fibers.

My favourite thing about this wig is that it has no crimped/ratted fibers. Not even under the bangs. ;u;

It makes it really comfy to wear and not itchy.
